Countdown to the start of Conference

Dear Seniors, Colleagues and Friends,

Warm greetings from the Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO).

We hope that you and your family have been keeping safe.

As we return to some sense of normalcy across the globe, we are very excited to host our Annual National Conference (ISNOCON 2023).

It’s a privilege to invite you all to visit Kolkata (City of Joy) for the Annual Conference of Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology on 27th to 30th April, 2023 at ITC Sonar Bangla Hotel.

As you may be aware, the Society which was initiated in 2008-2009 has now grown into an internationally acclaimed academic forum dedicated to the cause of Neuro-oncology in the country with true multi-disciplinary ethos comprising nearly 500 members including Oncologists, Neurosurgeons, Pathologists, Radiologists, Basic Scientists, and Allied Healthcare professionals.

The two themes of ISNOCON 2023 includes:

  • Ependymoma

  • Imaging in Neuro-Oncology and its optimal interpretation

We have also planned for 3 Preconference workshops:

  • Neuropathology (Only 16 delegates), Morphology / IHC / FISH / Molecular Pathology.

    FISH Markers and Molecular Tests (Both Sanger & NGS). (Please note that this workshop will start on 27th April post lunch and will end by 28th April before lunch). Venue: Tata Medical Center Kolkata.

  • Precision Radiotherapy : Stereotaxy in Brain mets. (Only 30 delegates). Venue: Tata Medical center Kolkata

  • Workshop on cancer communications skills: Communicating prognosis (Only 30 Delegates). Venue: Apollo Kolkata

The highlight of the programme includes Ab Guha Oration, Subimal Roy Oration and Presidential Oration.

Dr Thomas E Merchant from St Jude’s Hospital has agreed for the Ab Guha Oration.

Many International acclaimed Faculties along with Indian counterpart will participate in this mega Scientific event.

There are travel grants, Cash Prize for Quiz winners, Gold medals for the innovative research works in various disciplines and many other prizes to be won.
